Seattle's Second Best Cocktail Bar
Tini Bigs Big Martinis
"The best martini is the one made exactly the way you like it," insists Keith Robbins, owner of Tini Bigs Lounge. With fifty of the most requested martini recipes from Seattle's premier martini bar, Tini Bigs Big Martinis gives you the secret to creating award winning martinis at home.
Inspired by the mystique of the martini, Tini Bigs Lounge became a Seattle institution when the doors opened on its historic bar and red-lit tin ceiling in 1996. Since then it has become a legend built on award-winning martinis.
From the Classic Dry Martini to the John Wayne and the Feng-Shui Martini, these are the drinks that have attracted the attention of martini-lovers nationwide. "We'll put ours up against anyone's," says Keith, and that is exactly what Tini Bigs Big Martinis does, with easy-to-use recipes and spectacular photography.
But be warned: these martinis are not only delicious; they're BIG. Based on Tini Bigs' famous 10-ounce martini glass, they are meant to be shared. So invite your best friends over, and bring the mystique of the martini into your home.
What people say
"So many martinis, so little time. That's why this book is great. You can make and shake them any way you like in the comfort of your kitchen. Of course, drinking it all in at Tini Bigs is the best way, but this is the second-best way to quench your thirst."
Jill Cordes, host, "The Best Of" on Food Network
"Tini Bigs is to martinis what Dale Chihuly is to glass . . . beautiful colors and shapes, but most of all mouthwatering and delicious!"
Tom Douglas, restaurateur
"This wonderful array of ingredients reads just as a great cookbook should read. Amazingly, the authors have put together a series of simple 'recipes' to express what great restaurants do so well: real simplicity, with a passion for creative taste, a passion for the customer, and a passion for the enhancement of living. What better recipe is there!"
Armandino Batali, salumist, Salumi Artisan Cured Meats
"The perfect book to complement Tini Bigs, Seattle's best spot to enjoy a martini while you watch the rest of the world zoom by on their way to far less interesting places."
Mike Gastineau, KJR Radio
